The Honorary Consulate of Sri Lanka recently spearheaded expatriation of Sri Lankans who were stranded in Perth due to border closures caused by COVID-19. This flight which departed for Colombo on the 26th August 2020, carried close to 200 Sri Lankans who were faced by numerous challenges due to the inability of returning to their homeland. The Honorary Consulate of Sri Lanka worked tirelessly to bring some solace to our community in such trying times.
