On a historic first, the Sri Lankan Women's Masters Hockey team toured Australia from the 23rd of August to the 3rd of September, 2019. This team, which represented Sri Lanka in World Masters Hockey Championship in 2018, was warmly welcomed by the Honorary Consulate of Sri Lanka in Western Australia. 

The team met the Honorary Consul Rosh Jalagge, staff members of the Honorary Consulate, and the Sri Lankan Cultural Society on the 25th of September at a dinner event organised by the Honorary Consulate. After a mixed tour of wins and losses, the team departed for Sri Lanka on the 3rd of September.
