Funds raised by the Sri Lankan Food Festival in Perth were used to purchase much-needed equipment for COVID-19 for hospitals in Lunugala MOH area of Badulla district in Sri Lanka. Over $38,000.00 was raised by the food festival, with the proceeds being used to purchase items including hospital PPE kit, heart monitoring equipment, vaccination trolleys, and other valuable equipment to assist in COVID testing and treatment.
