After months of hard work by the Honorary Consulate and the Sri Lankan organizations in WA, the Sri Lankan Food Fair in aid of COVID-19 relief work was held at Centenary pavilion in Wilson, WA on 3 October 2021. The event received and overwhelming response from the supporting organizations and the general public who attended.

The event started with the blessings of the venerable theros and it was hearting to see that people from all ethnicities and religions joined together showcasing the unity of Sri Lankans in Perth. Food representing all culture were present and lines at stalls were forming from mid-morning. The event raised over $38,000 from the sale of food and donations bringing the total up to $38,225.00, making it the largest collection at a single event organised by the Sri Lankans in Western Australia.
