The Honorary onsulate of Sri Lanka in Western Australia celebrated the 69th Independence Day of Sri Lanka on the 4th of February, 2017. This glamourous event was held at the Carey Baptist College in Harrisdale, WA. The event was graced with the presence of guest speaker Prof. Charitha Pattiarachchichi as well as many other dignitaries. In its festive observances, the SL consulate graciously commemorated the diverse culture of Sri Lanka, its history and present-day developments.
